The ION CLUB Golf de Rosas center, at the southern end of the bay, is located between the villages of Sant Pere Pescador and L’Escala Besides rental and lesson service, we offer storage facilities for private equipment. The Center and storage units will be under 24 hour surveillance.
Besides the storage, you will be free to use all the other center facilities, such as showers, changing rooms, Wifi and rescue service in case something goes wrong.
If the wind is different than what you expected, of course you can always top up your own equipment range with our brandnew Duotone rental and Fanatic gear.

In front of the center of the ION CLUB Golf de Roses, in summer the wind often blows sideshore, coming from the left when looking at the sea. In the morning there is usually only a gentle wind, offering perfect conditions for children and beginners in windsurfing and kitesurfing courses. In the afternoon, this thermal wind increases, quite often reaching 20-25 knots, and the most experienced windsurfers, kitesurfers and wingfoilers can finally indulge their passion.

A word about
ION CLUB GOLF DE ROSES
EL spot de windsurf y kitesurf en la Costa Brava. Un lugar con viento de Tramuntana de los Pirineos y la brisa marina constante en los meses de verano. La larga bahía arenosa de Roses, en la costa mediterránea, a solo 30 km al sur de la frontera francesa, ha sido un lugar favorito para los windsurfistas durante décadas.
El ION CLUB Golf de Roses, en el extremo sur de la bahía, está situado entre Sant Pere Pescador y L'Escala. El centro ION CLUB se encuentra en el Camping & Bungalow Resort La Ballena Alegre Costa Brava. El camping es cada año la sede del evento de la PWA World cup que tiene lugar justo al lado del centro ION CLUB.

Mayo, junio, julio, agosto, septiembre
VIENTO
En los meses más cálidos, un viento térmico del sureste es el viento principal en la Bahía de Roses. La "Tramontana" del norte normalmente sopla en los meses más fríos, sin embargo, también puede crear fuertes vientos en pleno verano durante días. Delante del centro ION CLUB, sopla de costado desde la izquierda. De mayo a septiembre, el viento térmico es muy confiable. Mientras que por las mañanas generalmente hay vientos ligeros que ofrecen las condiciones perfectas para los niños, por la tarde, en su mayoría, aumenta y puede alcanzar hasta 6 bft.

En los días buenos, se forman olas impresionantes cerca de la costa.
CÓMO LLEGAR A GOLF DE ROSES ?
Desde Barcelona o Girona
Con vehículo propio o el de alquiler, puede llegar al Centro ION CLUB por la autopista (Autopista AP 7, frontera francesa - Barcelona).
Procedente de Francia o de los aeropuertos de Girona (45 minutos) o Barcelona (1,5 horas), en cualquier caso hay que tomar la salida 5, L'Escala / Empuries ”.
Luego tome la carretera G1-623 dirección L`Escala durante aproximadamente 20 km.
Justo antes de llegar a L'Escala encontrará una rotonda (a la derecha: oficina de turismo) * en la que gira a la izquierda hacia „St. Marti d`Empuries ”/ Platjas de St Pere Pescador“, de ahora en adelante ya no tomarás el camino hacia L`Escala.
Ahora siempre recto, después de 1 km verá el pueblo St Marti d`Empuries a su derecha. En esta pequeña rotonda, siga recto.
Conducirás por un pequeño puente y podras ver los grandes carteles amarillos del Camping “la Ballena Alegre Costa Brava”, este es el primer campamento en el lado derecho. El ION CLUB Golf de Roses está situado en el extremo derecho del Camping (vista hacia el mar).
Aparcamiento
Si no está alojado en el Camping & Bungalow Resort La Ballena Alegre, sino en uno de los hoteles o campings de la zona, lea las instrucciones para aparcar aquí:
Durante la temporada baja -cuando el Camping está cerrado- puede entrar con su coche en el recinto del camping y aparcar directamente detrás del centro ION CLUB. La barrera de la recepción se abrirá automáticamente. Siga las señales dentro de la zona de acampada. En temporada alta el camping está abierto. No puede entrar en coche si no es cliente del Camping . Como cliente del ION CLUB puede aparcar su coche en el parking frente a la recepción de forma gratuita durante 3 horas/día si presenta su bono en la recepción del Camping la Ballena Alegre. Puede caminar por el camping hacia el ION CLUB (sólo 5 minutos a pie).
