The SBO Taro Beach Costa Calma is a 4* all-inclusive hotel in Costa Calma. The all-inclusive board allows you as much time as possible during your holiday to rest, or to enjoy activities. It is located by the sea, more precisely on Costa Calma beach, in the south of the island of Fuerteventura. The SBH Taro Beach is the perfect place for a relaxing beach holiday in the Canary Islands!
This hotel offers many advantages that are sure to surprise you. Starting with some front-row rooms overlooking the ocean, in front of the windsurfing and wingfoiling spot. This is a great wake-up call to start the day, or simply to check how the sailing conditions are, whatever the time!
The SBH Taro Beach Fuerteventura also has direct access to Costa Calma beach. Without leaving your hotel, enjoy a swim, a session in our centre ION CLUB Costa Calma or even a game of beach volleyball at any time! Unless, that is, you want to take advantage of the hotel’s many activities, both during the day and in the evening.

The Restaurant:Â
The SBH Taro Beach Costa Calma restaurant has a large room where you can meet to eat indoors, or you can choose to enjoy your meal outside on the terrace shaded by vegetation.
Meals are served buffet-style, hot and cold, with most dishes prepared on site by the chefs. To keep menus as varied as possible, the hotel’s cuisine is both international and themed, depending on the day.
Breakfast is served from 8am to 10:30am, lunch from 12:30pm to 2pm, and dinner from 6:30pm to 9:30pm.

The pool bar is open at all hours for drinks and snacks.
The Lounge Bar

What to do in and around Costa Calma ?Â
As the name suggests, the atmosphere in the small village of Costa Calma is rather calm, and it is very pleasant to stroll through the town center for a spot of shopping, or to sample tapas and fresh fish in one of the many local restaurants.
If you want to daydream or to clear your head in Costa Calma, there is nothing like a lovely beach walk with your feet in the water, heading south towards Playa Esmeralda, but don’t forget your swimsuit – it’s hard not to take a dip in the ocean!
Also close to Costa Calma, the Risco del Paso nature reserve is a magical place with a beautiful sandy beach for walkers, and a stretch of water popular with windsurfers and kitesurfers. That is why another of our centers is based here, the ION CLUB Risco del Paso, offering windsurfing and kitesurfing. It is open all year around, and lives to the rhythm of the tides, thanks in particular to a lagoon available to our riders for perfecting their skills.
On the other side of the island of Fuerteventura, to the west, take the time to visit the surprising La Pared beach, a 15-minute drive from Costa Calma. It is a popular spot with surfers and an incredible place to watch the sunset, on your board or sipping a cocktail.
Still in the south of the island, escape to the Jandia Nature Park and leave your car at the parking lot, then walk to the coves and beaches of the park for a privileged moment. Â
Finally, take a day to explore and admire the impressive 14km long Cofete beach, surely the most beautiful beach on Fuerteventura, and the most famous in the Canaries. Cofete offers a secluded atmosphere reminiscent of the end of the world. It is also well known as the setting for several films, including Planet of the Apes and Solo: A Star Wars Story. However, it is a dream landscape that has to be earned as access to the beach is not so easy, requiring the use of a long track on the side of the mountain, which can only be reached by jeep or by hiking for a minimum of 4 hours.
