Kitesurf Storage DAKHLA WHITE DUNE CANYON
Do you want to bring your own equipment but don’t want to deal with the day-to-day logistics? The ION CLUB kitesurfing centre is located opposite the popular White Dune. As a customer of our equipment storage service you will have your own locker, where you can store up to three kites, your harness and of course your board. You are also free to use all of the centre’s facilities, such as showers, changing rooms, wifi, etc. Emergency service in the event of an incident on the water is also included for all of our customers. If the wind is stronger or weaker than expected, you can of course hire equipment from the ION CLUB centre and take advantage of the latest Duotone equipment. We are happy to make life easier for you on your kitesurfing holiday!

This incredible lagoon offers dream conditions for all levels of rider, with constant wind almost all year around, flat water and plenty of space. For wave lovers, not far from this lagoon and accessible by 4×4, there are perfect wave riding conditions, often exceptional, for both beginners and very good surfers, depending on the spot. The wind at Dakhla blows mainly from the north/north-east, offering superb conditions for kitesurfers and wingfoilers of all levels, including beginners. In the lagoon the wind is sideshore and comes from the left.

Information
All our Kiteboarding Storage boxes are located right on the beach in front of the Kite Spot and are expecially designed to keep all your Kitesurfing gear safe. Please note, that access to the storage facilities is in many Centers restricted to the opening times of the Center. If you require access outside these hours, please contact the Center directly to arrange.
In all ION CLUB Centers, except of Tarifa and Cabarete, there is a Rescue Service included in your storage price. We consider situations, during which due to an injury, broken equipment, or change in Wind, assistance from our Team is needed, as a Rescue. Drifting due to lack of level or experience is considered a Taxi Service and will be charged by the Center.

Dakhla is a town of around 100,000 inhabitants in the very south of Morocco, at the gateway to the Western Sahara. It lies on a peninsula 48 km long and 4 km wide, and is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean. As a result, mother nature has created a huge lagoon between the dunes. Our kitesurf and wingfoil center ION CLUB Dakhla White Dune is located on the east coast of the peninsula, opposite the popular White Dune.
This incredible lagoon offers dreamy sailing conditions for all levels of rider. Constant wind almost all year around, flat water and plenty of space. For wave enthusiasts, not far from this lagoon and accessible by 4x4 the ocean offers perfect, often exceptional wave riding conditions for both beginners and advanced surfers, depending on the spot.

WIND
The wind at Dakhla is predominantly from the north/north-east, offering superb conditions for kitesurfers, wingfoilers and windsurfers of all levels, including beginners. In the lagoon, the wind is sideshore from the left.
WAVES
It's not hard to find waves near Dakhla or its lagoon. On the Atlantic side, spots like Oum Labouir, Aarich and the Pointe d'Or make the region a multi-spot for all levels of rider, whether kitesurfing or surfing.
HOW TO GET TO DAKHLA?
Local carrier Royal Air Maroc offers daily flights from Europe. Most aircraft make a short stop-over in Casablanca or Marrakech. Every Monday and Friday a direct flight from Paris Orly is possible with Transavia.
