windsurf Lessons

Our windsurfing lessons are taught by certified instructors (VDWS, FAV, RYA, or equivalent organizations) who are passionate about the sport and trained in multilingual teaching. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced windsurfer, our program is designed to suit all levels. We have divided our courses into three main sections:

• BEGINNER SECTION : Learning the basics and your first rides

• INTERMEDIATE SECTION : Riding with smaller boards, introduction to planing

• ADVANCED SECTION : Mastering advanced maneuvers and specific disciplines (wave, jibe, waterstart)

At ION CLUB Golf de Roses, we offer courses specially designed for children (ages 8 to 14), with very small groups to guarantee safety, learning, and fun. Thanks to the Surf’n Play program, your kids will discover three sports : windsurfing, kitesurfing, and SUP, in a playful atmosphere, with a maximum of 4 participants per group. The goal: to progress with confidence, make friends, and have fun on the water!

No matter your level, safety in windsurfing is our top priority. Depending on your level and what you want to learn, we organize lessons in groups, semi-private sessions, or private lessons if you prefer to have the instructor all to yourself. We always aim to schedule sessions as effectively as possible according to your level and the weather conditions, so that you can make the best possible progress in windsurfing.

Each session takes place under the supervision of our certified instructors, with equipment adapted to your needs and checked at the start of every lesson. At most of our spots, we use BB Talking radios for real-time communication between student and instructor. At ION CLUB, students also benefit from the support of a rescue boat/jet ski.
