In the early days of a new sport the dynamics in the development of new equipment is huge, and every new model is often 3 times better than the previous one. That is why we make extra sure that our wingfoil rental equipment is always up to date.
At ION CLUB FUERTEVENTURA, we use Duotone Unit and Slick wings as they provide a great combination of easy handling plus great performance. We have equipment for all levels, whether you are a beginner or an advanced rider.
These wings, used in combination with the latest models of Fanatic and a large variety of mast lengths and foil sizes will literally make you fly!

A word about
ION CLUB COSTA CALMA
The ION CLUB Costa Calma center is located very close to Morro Jable, a popular tourist area in the southeast of Fuerteventura. It takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes to drive from Fuerteventura Airport to Costa Calma.
Right on the beach, in front of the Monica Beach Hotel, ION CLUB Costa Calma enjoys a side-offshore wind. Near the shore, the wind is good for beginners in windsurfing; farther out, it picks up in summer afternoons (up to around 30 knots), offering perfect conditions for freeriders and freestylers on flat water. The spot is also great for wingfoiling: beginners can learn without stress, while more experienced riders can rent gear and enjoy long sessions. A versatile and safe spot for all levels and all types of riders.

WIND
At low tide, you can stand for the first 30 meters, as the fine sandy beach slopes down slowly. On the other hand, at high tide, the water becomes deep quickly. There may be a small harmless beach break due to the movement of the sand at this time. Directly in front of the center, a launch is reserved for windsurfers. No waves - or very rarely - at the center of Costa Calma! If you're looking for waves, you'd better go to our other ION CLUB center in Risco del Paso, about 20 minutes by road.
WAVES
At low tide you can easily stand for the first 30 meters as the sandy beach drops down smoothly. At high tide it gets deep after the first 10 to 15 meters. In the afternoon you can find a harmless little beachbreak due to the sandy beach. Directly in front of the center there is a sandy 40 meters entrance reserved for windsurfers. No waves at Costa Calma center! Better at the Risco del Paso center.
HOW TO GET TO COSTA CALMA?
From Fuerteventura Airport
The trip from Fuerteventura airport to Costa Calma takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. From the airport by car take the FV-2 towards Morro Jable and Jandia. The ION CLUB Costa Calma center is located on the beach right in front of the SBH Costa Calma Palace and the Monica Beach Hotel. If you want to go from Costa Calma to Risco del Paso, drive on the FV-2 towards Morro Jable until PK 72 "Risco del Paso".
