Things to Do in Boa Vista
Staying at Orquidea gives you direct access to some of the island’s most beautiful beaches. Start with Praia de Estoril, just a few minutes’ walk away, perfect for relaxing and swimming. Continue on to Praia de Diante or Bahia Beach to soak up the sun and enjoy crystal-clear waters ideal for snorkeling.
Watersports enthusiasts will find excellent conditions for kitesurfing, wingfoiling, and surfing, especially at the renowned spots of Sal Rei and Estoril. You can also take a boat trip around the island or go whale watching in season.
To explore Boa Vista in a different way, wander through the lively center of Sal Rei with its shops and local markets, or take an excursion to the island’s traditional inland villages. The desert landscapes and shifting dunes of the Viana Desert can be explored by 4×4 or buggy, and during the summer months, you may even witness sea turtles nesting. Each day ends beautifully with a spectacular sunset over the ocean.
