This kitesurf and wingfoil cruise in Egypt, departing from Hurghada, is designed primarily for independent riders looking for exceptional conditions, uncrowded spots, and access to well-maintained kitesurf and wingfoil equipment adapted to each conditions. On board the Dune ALIA, you sail each day to Red Sea lagoons accessible only by boat. Flat water, steady winds and vast riding areas come together to create ideal conditions for back-to-back sessions, progression and pure riding enjoyment. Kitesurf and wingfoil lessons can be arranged on request, with personalized lessons and access to ION CLUB equipment.

ASHRAFI SOUTH
A flagship spot of the cruise.
Deep and perfectly flat water right next to the boat, ideal for freestyle and wingfoiling, then further out a huge shallow lagoon that suits intermediate riders better. You can ride far upwind in complete safety. Massive space, flat water, a magical setting and relaxed riding conditions.

ASHRAFI NORTH
Mostly shallow, with exceptional ultra flat areas depending on the tide. Ideal for freeride and progression, perfectly suited to less experienced riders. Further out, there is a deeper zone for tricks and wingfoilers. Wingfoilers ride on the south side, kitesurfers on the north side, ensuring optimal comfort. This spot lets you discover the Hurghada lagoons in complete safety.

NORTH GEISUM
It’s a versatile spot. A huge, open area that’s perfect for all levels. Easy transitions between shallow water and deeper zones, ideal for safely working on new tricks as well as for progressing.

SOUTH GEISUM
Ultra flat, almost mirror like water, protected by the reefs. A remarkably smooth spot, perfect for freeride, long rides and photo sessions in crystal clear water. Just a few reaches downwind, the depth increases quickly, offering more space for riders who prefer deeper water for tricks and a more dynamic ride.

ABU MUNGAR
Take off from a fine sandbank, surrounded by turquoise water. Shallow at the start, then deeper downwind. Long rides of ultra flat water, ideal conditions to progress or simply enjoy yourself.

An iconic Red Sea spot, accessible only by boat. A huge protected lagoon with crystal clear water and take off from fine sand. Stress free riding in a deserted island setting.

DUNE ALIA YACHT
Everything is designed to balance sailing, rest and comfortable life on board. Guests enjoy full-board accommodation, an onboard restaurant run by a chef and a pastry chef, as well as two bars for relaxed social moments. Numerous indoor and outdoor lounging areas, including a sun deck with sun loungers, invite you to unwind throughout the journey. Free Wi-Fi (subject to network coverage) allows you to stay connected, while optional post-cruise activities such as spa treatments, excursions and sightseeing (at extra cost) round out the experience.

HOW TO GET TO HURGHADA ?
Hurghada is easily accessible by plane from Europe. Many European cities offer direct flights, especially during high season, with an average flight time of 4 to 5 hours. If there are no direct flights, you can also travel via Cairo with a domestic connection. Once you arrive at Hurghada International Airport, the meeting point is easy to reach by taxi or with organized transfers.

LUXOR
If you have some time left during your kite or windsurfing trip to Safaga, don’t hesitate to plan a day trip to Luxor. Visit the different museums and observe the antiquities to discover a little bit more about the history of ancient Egypt. The tour is a one day trip (departure at 6:00 am, return around 8:00 pm). Luxor is often referred to as “the world’s largest open-air museum”, and it is an extraordinary place. Nothing in the world compares to the majesty of the monuments that have survived in the ancient city of Luxor, once called Thebes.

It is possible to organize a 2-3 day trip to Cairo and the pyramids of Giza from Hurghada.

Located about 50 kilometers south of Hurghada in Egypt, the Egyptian site of Safaga is home to many scuba diving centers and is also one of the best wingfoiling, kitesurfing and windsurfing spots in the country.
