COURSE ORGANISATION AND SAFETY
Depending on your level and desires, they will organise your lessons in a group, in a semi-private lesson, or if you prefer one-on-one you can have a private instructor. They always try to plan the lessons as efficiently and safely for you as possible in order to improve your windsurfing and to give you enough space and time to practice your newly learned skills. The center offer a safe learning environment with no need for a rescue boat, the water is maximum chest deep throughout the whole lagoon and their instructors are always on the lookout, in case anybody needs help getting back.
FLEXBILITY
We understand that deciding on the correct windsurf package from the comfort of your home might be challenging. Don’t you worry! Even if you chose a package, that turns out to be under or over your limits or expectations, we are more than happy to assist you with the choice. You will never have to join a lesson, which actually does not suit your expectations or level.
After every session your instructor will give you detailed feedback and recommendation on how to continue – no matter which course you initially booked. Your success, progress and happiness is all that matter to us!

For all of you who never tried windsurfing before. During this 6 hours group windsurf course, you will learn the very basics of Windsurfing.
From how to lift the sail up from the water to do your first rides in both directions.
This course is usually split in 3 sessions of 2 hours, the lessons will take place according to the wind conditions.

DUOTONE PRO CENTER SICILY
Lo Stagnone Lagoon, located between Trapani and Marsala and bordered by the "Isola Grande" island, is a paradise for watersports lovers. This amazing spot in Sicily, Italy, features ultra-flat, shallow waters, making it perfect for beginners to learn and freestylers to perform tricks. Spanning around 7 kilometers in length and 3 kilometers in width, Lo Stagnone is one of Europe’s largest shallow water lagoons, with a depth that increases only toward the south, offering ideal conditions for kitesurfing, windsurfing, and wing foiling.
Their kitesurf school gives you direct access to the spot, so you can ride freely in the huge lagoon and soak up Sicily’s stunning nature. With top-quality Duotone kitesurfing, windsurfing, wing foiling, and stand-up paddle equipment, the center provides professional lessons for all skill levels in your favorite watersports. This unique place has crystal-clear water on one side and fascinating pink salt fields on the other.

BEST PERIODS

WIND
Lo Stagnone Lagoon sees about 300 windy days a year, with peak season from May to September/October, driven by thermal winds. Winds mainly come from northwest (Mistral), northeast (Grecale), and southeast (Scirocco), ranging from 14-20 knots. Summer temperatures average 30°C air and 23-25°C water, with winds strengthening in the afternoon.
WAVES
Lo Stagnone is a flat spot with shallow water, waves can only be found an hour south, with the right forecast.
HOW TO GET TO LO STAGNONE ?
The easiest way to travel to Stagnone lagoon is by plane: Trapani (TPS) airport sits 7 minutes from the spot. Else, Palermo (PMO) airport is 1 hour and a half from the spot (organized transfers are available). If you are travelling with a car or campervan, you can easily drive to Naples and then hop on a ferry to Palermo (10 hours, leaving in the evening and arriving early morning).
