ALACATI BAY
The spot of the ION CLUB ALACATI center is on the edge of a very wide bay with turquoise waters, in a shallow water area protected from the waves, 500 meters long and 400 meters wide. To the south, the bay gives way to the open sea. The steady wind, which blows side-shore and from the left when looking out to sea in the summer, plus the large flat water area, promote ideal conditions for all windsurfers whether taking beginner or intermediate lessons, or renting windsurfing or wingfoil equipment to freeride and work on freestyle tricks. Alaçati is one of the best windsurfing spots in Turkey.
ALACATI BEACH

As for the experienced windsurfers, those wanting to learn the jibe or water start, or the wingfoilers itching to fly over the water; be patient because the wind kicks in stronger usually around noon and blows until the end of the day.
